This is the third movie in the All Night Long series, and it is the worst one so far. The movie is directed by the same director who directed the first two movies, but now he has run out of ideas. All Night Long 3 is a disaster! For your information, this man has directed all the movies in this series. Based on what I have read and understood, this was supposed to be a trilogy, and All Night Long 3 was supposed to be the last one in this series. But no, the director just had to make more sequels, even though he has never had much talent.
There is not much going on in All Night Long 3. We follow an outcast, a perverted loser who collects flies and used bloody menstrual pads! He also starts eating the food the woman he’s stalking has thrown away. The topic is trash, human trash. There are several characters here that fit nicely into this category. But are these interesting characters? No! You could say that the director has taken some of the characters from the first two movies in the series and made them even more disturbing. What can a group of outcasts do when nobody is watching them? They become a menace to society, and the protagonist loses touch with reality when he finds a woman that his colleagues have left behind after they spent some “quality” time with her. He takes her home and experiments on her so that he can become a better lover—or not. He’s a pervert, and he enjoys torture. When you didn’t think he could get any crazier, he takes his beer and asks you to hold it for him. He has more work to do, that bloody menstrual pad freak licker! This is yet another movie that isn’t kind to the female characters who are victims of bullying and abuse. But this time it isn’t that shocking.
The problem is that the movie is so boring, and it feels empty compared to the first two movies. There are no shocking scenes if you have watched the first two movies in the series, and the characters feel like silly movie stereotypes with no depth. The first movie had much more to tell, and the second one was entertaining and pretty messed up. They are way more engaging than this turd of a movie.
I know that many like it since it’s so nasty and dark as hell, but I didn’t enjoy it at all. I found it boring. Coming from the second movie that put a smile on my face because of how crazy it was, this grittier and darker movie didn’t do it for me at all. The movie feels dead to me. There’s nothing here that captivated me. I felt dead inside watching it. Especially the scenes with the protagonist were killing me. I wanted to smash his face with my bare fists and throw him in the garbage bin where he belongs.
The three characters that the protagonist knows are tragic. The whole movie has only generic characters borrowed from other movies, including the characters from the first two movies in the series. The problem is that they do not have unique personalities. They could not be more empty! It feels like they borrowed the characters from movies like Deliverance and I Spit on Your Grave, but they are completely devoid of personality. The characters in the first two movies had personalities, which helps a lot, and it’s more interesting following them than a pervert who collects flies and bloody, hairy menstrual pads!
The actors are not good either. The quality has dropped drastically after the first two movies, which does not bode well for the next movies in the series that I am going to watch! Someone save me now. I’m not Jesus Christ willing to sacrifice myself watching bad movies, you know!
This was a downer. To be honest, I thought the poor quality of All Night Long 3 would represent all the movies in the series. But the first two movies are interesting, while All Night Long 3 is empty rubbish that burns slowly.
