Time heals all things… except these crazy eyes.

Mr. Deeds er ikke den beste Adam Sandler filmen, men heller ikke den verste filmen. For min egen del er det Happy Gilmore som er den beste Adam Sandler filmen. Jeg tror folk flest mener det samme.

Mr. Deeds er en hyggelig film om en hyggelig kar som ikke utgir for å være andre enn seg selv i en falsk og materialistisk verden. Det merkes raskt at humoren ikke er den typiske Adam Sandler humoren vi best kjenner fra Happy Gilmore. Det hele er veldig forsiktig, og filmen byr ikke på de store latterkulene.

Mr. Deeds har noen herlige rollefigurer, som f.eks. Emilio Lopez som blir spilt av John Turturro. Jeg må også trekke frem Cecil Anderson spilt av Erick Avari. Det er synd at denne rollefiguren ikke fikk mer skjermtid, for det er faktisk han som er den morsomste i Mr. Deeds.

En ok film, men jeg savnet den litt råere humoren som Adam Sandler er kjent for fra Happy Gilmore.
