A woman who has planned to spend time with a man on Valentine’s Day wakes up in her bed, sunburned, and unable to remember what happened the day before. However, a mysterious man knows the truth, and the secret lies in the past.
The woman we are following is in love with a man who is her Prince Charming. But there is a strange man who shows up at the post office where she works, and he always posts a single letter. Is he a stalker? Is he a pervert? To find the answer to that, you have to watch the movie yourself.
Sometimes you watch a romantic movie that surprises you, and “My Missing Valentine” is one such movie. The movie is really funny and charming in the first 75 minutes, and then it reveals the truth of what is going on. I have to say that the last 25 minutes of the movie were a little slow and a little creepy. It feels sort of wrong, but in the end, it is an innocent romantic comedy-drama that will put a big smile on your sad face.
The actors are good, and the simple characters are easy to like. They do not have much character depth, and that is okay since this is first and foremost a cute and heartwarming movie with a small dose of drama mixed in.
If you like romantic movies like “Cashback” (2008), you should check out “My Missing Valentine.” “My Missing Valentine” must have drawn inspiration from that movie, a movie that I love. The only negative element I found was the last 25 minutes of the movie, which were too slow, and not much happened. And since this is the part of the movie where we get the answer to the big mystery, I expected something extra. But the result was that some of the air was let out of the balloon, and the person who is the key to opening up the secret feels like a creepy stalker. The ending could have been worked on more. But this is still a movie you should watch if you want to see a romantic comedy-drama that feels different from the generic movies they release in this genre.
