Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009)

You don’t seem to be evil, you seem to be more of a grouch.

Så lenge lette underholdningsfilmer tjener penger, vil det alltid dukke opp unødvendige oppfølgere. Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian er nok en unødvendig oppfølger som ikke har noe nytt å fortelle. For de minste er nok filmen en fargerik opplevelse, for en gammel grinebiter ble filmen for masete i lengden.

Det er selvsagt noen morsomme scener i filmen, men vi har da sett dette her før. Jeg håper ikke det kommer flere filmer i denne serien nå, det er bare ikke nødvendig når man ikke kan finne på noe nytt og spennende som vi ikke har sett før. Nesten som vanlig er oppfølgeren dårligere sammenlignet med den første filmen. Likhetene er mange, men når filmene er så like som de er, vinner alltid den første filmen da oppfølgere alltid skal ha et mål, nemlig å overgå sin forgjenger. Det klarer ikke Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.
