Santa Maria blander komedie, drama, død og gangstere. Da er det vel ikke vanskelig å gjette at det er en film fra Sør-Korea. Selv om jeg er lei av denne sjangerblandingen kunne Santa Maria ha vært en riktig så god film hadde ikke regissøren hatt for mange baller i luften. Fundamentet er der, men karakterdybden og forhistorien mangler. Hadde det vært til stede så kunne Santa Maria ha sparket godt fra seg.
