Swordfish (2001)

You know what the problem with Hollywood is? They make shit.

Åpningscenen i Swordfish er genial med litt filmprat og en herlig eksplosjon i beste Michael Bay-stil. Dette er en lett popcornfilm der ingen egentlig er skurker, de må gjøre det som kreves i en hard og brutal verden. Uskyldige liv vil gå tapt, men det er jo ikke noe nytt.

John Travolta ser ut som en idiot på håret, Nicolas Cage vil ha tilbake parykken sin! Halle Berry blotter brystene sine, Vinnie Jones vil stikke en bazooka opp i ræva på en uskyldig mann, men kanskje ikke han er så uskyldig?

Tiden går fort med Swordfish. Det er klasse over actionscenene, og man blir litt lurt på slutten av filmen. Karakterdybde og drama kan man se lenge etter, hvem bryr seg om at noen personer i pornoindustrien dør?

Swordfish er en lett popcornfilm som underholder. Og det gjør den på en måte som gjør at man glemmer tid og sted.
