Regissør Len Wiseman har laget fire filmer til nå, og hans aller første film, Underworld, er klart den beste. Her har han laget en moderne vampyr og varulvfilm som har alt man kan ønske seg. Visuelt ser Underworld meget bra ut. Effektene er gode, det samme er actionsekvensene som er tøffe. Kronen på verket er en fin historie og rollefigurer med personligheter. Kate Beckinsale er til å spise opp, Bill Nighy er tøff som vanlig.
Jeg blir aldri lei av Underworld. Den er absolutt en av de beste moderne vampyrfilmene som har blitt laget etter 80-tallet. Og lydsporet er legendarisk, snakk om lydkvalitet!
I agree. There isn’t a better vampire film franchise than Underworld, and a fifth film is shooting this fall. My only complaint about this franchise is that there isn’t any humour. Everyone takes themselves too seriously. I love the first film, the second film is in the middle of the road. I’m not so fond of the third and fourth films, especially the fourth one was terrible.
I see what you mean regarding the humor, I’m not sure if I wanted humor in the first film, but I think you are right that some of the sequels should have had a little dose of humor so they felt a little different.

I also think the first movie is pretty good, almost as good as the first Blade movie. The second one was okay, have not seen three and four.

Thanks for the feedback. Underworld is like an Old Testament war. With blood revenge, you must kill or be killed. Another film about blood revenge is Out of the Furnace (2013). It’s dark, violent, and gripping. Blood revenge is a primal desire of man, but a primitive form of justice. P.S.
