Wayne’s World (1992)

It will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine.

En gang i mine yngre dager likte jeg Wayne’s World, merkelig nok. Nå er filmen bare irriterende, og det er ikke noe sammenheng her. Noen morsomme scener er det, men jeg tror det er kun tre av dem. Beste scenen er med Robert Patrick der han er tilbake som T-1000.

Rollefigurene er irriterende, med unntak av Wayne Campbell, som blir spilt av Mike Myers. Mike Myers er god i denne rollen, og her kunne man allerede se Dr. Evil i flere scener. Partneren hans, Dana Carbey, er bare helt tragisk. Han kan ikke spille, maken til idiot skal du lete lenge etter.

Wayne’s World er veldig lik Bill & Ted-filmene. Mike Myers er også veldig lik Keanu Reeves sin rolletolkning som en dum rocker, så lik at det nærmer seg plagiat. Keanu Reves har faktisk etterlatt seg et spor i filmhistorien som en herlig og dum rocker.

Wayne’s World blir bare slitsom i lengden. Humor som ikke fungerer er fryktelig slitsomt i lengden. Takke meg til Bill & Ted-filmene, de var idiotiske, men til tider morsomme.
